Best Acne Treatment - How to Wash Your Face

Best Acne Treatment - How to Wash Your Face

Once you have cleaned out your body from toxins, you'll need to wash your face. So, it is time to think about how to wash your face.

There is a specific method you should use. Some of the method is common sense, the rest is the result of study and research.

First thing for you to think is, "regularly."

When do you wash your face? The same times every day, for a start. When you first arise from bed in the morning, and at night, just before you get into bed.

During the day, any time you've started to perspire, like when you exercise, made love, or moved furniture. (I hope those don't seem the same thing to you).

Make sure to wash all of your face, from your hairline, all the way down to your neck. If your hair is particularly oily, wash it (and everywhere it touches your face and neck) every day.

I like a mild soap, like Ivory white soap, in small amounts, just enough to get some on your fingertips. Of course, if your doctor or pharmacist have recommended a particular kind of soap, or a gentle medicated gel, that is what you should use.

Second, think "gently."

I know it is tempting sometimes, especially if you are frustrated at the state of your skin, to use "Lava," or some other pumice-based abrasive soap, to scrub away dirt, oil, and germs. Please, don't.

I'm sure your doctor will tell you, "NEVER" use an abrasive soap. It will scratch your skin, and that leaves scars, or may lead to painful and damaging infection.

Instead, follow your doctor or pharmacist's recommendation, which may be for a mild cleansing gel. There are also some other products on this blog I can recommend.

Third, think "let the water do its work."

Use enough of your soap to dissolve dirt and oil. Do not scrub with your washcloth, so much that you damage your skin.

Use plenty of water. Let the soap and water carry the toxins away from your face. Blot your skin dry with a soft, absorbent towel.

Get into the healthful habit of washing your face - the right way!

A higher protein intake may assist in acne control. This may be to do with the decreased production of a certain enzyme that can cause more oil production, and increased clogging of pores. dermatology laser

I've been using facewipes to get rid of make up for years, but they seem to make me more spotty.

Anything you can recommend to wash face with?
